Greasemonkey is a firefox plugin which enable user to inject their own javascript into certain webpages. By doing so, visitors or users are able to do many creative things over the original webpage. Below are few application of Greasemonkey:

• Rearrange the webpage’s layout. For example, there are scripts to re-layout google search results, showing the snapshot of the results in thumbnail format
• Automate certain webbase game.
• Show extra information for certain website, such as tweeter or digg.
